Bili bili na Sir hehe. Masarap bumalik sa mga magagandang alaala. As for the cars you mentioned halos lahat pede sa Tech Race Format except for Beat Magnum.. Maganda siya sa Speed Technical. Yung iba kasi dyan pag nilagay sa TZ, TZX and FM (of course modification is needed) maganda ang takbo Would you know where I can get my hands on a Bergkaiser chief? You could try Lils, that is where I got my Bergkaiser just last year. I think until now its still available coz its not that saleable sa mga racers. Plasma motor is one of the expensive since it is using carbon brush instead of clip brush. Good for speed race, maaksaya nga lang siya sa batt, kaya mas advisable to use Ultra Dash.

The plasma does tend to drain batteries really quickly. Which is why we use only rechargeable batteries with the highest mAh ratings. You get more out of both the battery and the motors that way. Speaking of which, I think that all zoiders who have battery operated Zoids should switch to rechargeable batteries. It minimizes throwing away dead batteries that only add to the amount of garbage in the environment. Plus, I don't think we have a proper way of having to dispose of the non rechargeable batteries. They just end up leaking poison in land fills. Let's all help minimize the trash.

As for the batteries, we could really attain the maximum performance (or as they say "PUNCH") depending on what type of battery you are using. Primarily NiCd has this punch compared to MiMH. But NiMH are considered as High Capacity thats why most batteries nowadays that are advisable to use for Digital Cameras are NiMH. The capacity (or commonly known as mAh) actually describes how long the battery will last after charging. The sad part is that the higher the capacity, the heavier and the bigger the battery is. But of course we cannot remove the factor on how you charge and discharge your batteries. (depending on what type, NiCd or NiMH).. But this is another chapter. hehe This is the reason why I find Tamiya Racing very exciting, since you really have to consider a lot of things before having a car that is to said to be fully set up and competitive.. ;D If Ill have time, will post the specs of each car posted on page 1 to better describe the technicalities of this hobby.

AJTo answer your inquiry, Tamiya PRO is the new line of Tamiya which uses MS chasis (MID SHIFT) instead of either front or rear motor from the old school Tamiya Mini 4wd (eg. VS, Super 1, TZ, X, TZX, XX, FM, etc.) Meaning the motor is located and the center of the chasis making the weight concentrated on that area. This also uses a motor w/ dual shaft (both front and rear) making it more faster and more suitable for speed racing. So propeller shaft is no longer an issue in this type of chasis. Its like having a Tamiya with direct gear. The first wave of PRO uses a transparent polycarbonate type of cowl (cover) wherein you the one who's going to design and paint depending on what design you like. But lately, they already released reissues and new models for this line. New tune up parts were also released to fit the performance of the MS PRO. Try checking this one for reference, this one is a limited type of MS Chasis ----> Mini 4WD PRO MS Chasis Evo. IHope this helps ;D zoiderInterested on the Cross Tiger, what do you for it? In case for sale how much?

Wohooo! This came in yesterday along with some Cowl. After a long wait, finally its here.. It nearly cost me a MIB Greenhorn just for the trimming for these tires, but its worth it ;D ;D Trimmed Tires to a specific diameter (for technical race format): - most of them are just for front and large diameter, so need a lot of rear trimmed medium tires to match there specs.. - tire diameter is ranging from 23mm to 24mm - all tires are allowed for ALL TAMIYA RACE FORMAT specs

Race nowadays are very Technical in terms of setting up a Mini 4WD car. Stability and speed is very important. We control the speed not only by the motor and gearing, but also in terms of the battery, type of wheel bearing, brakes, rollers and bearings that is used and by the wheels depending on there size and diameter. Tire Trimming is done by grinding the rubber with the use of a drill or a motor to a sand paper. Along with this process is yung wheel balancing para hindi wiggle yung mga gulong pag tumatakbo. We use trimmed tires for several reasons and this are some: 1. to attain stability - less rubber, less bounce during jump 2. to increase tire grip - flat rubber, more grip on tracks 3. to control speed - tires are trimmed on a specific diameter (minimum of 22mm for ALL TAMIYA FORMAT) to attain or even maintain a specific speed which matches the motor and track lay out. Advisable na magkaron ka ng variety of tires. That's why we invest on tires aside from a good battery and a good charger. Medyo mahal pero malaki ang epekto sa takbo nung oto. Kasi yung mga materials ikaw ang magpoprovide and labor ng trimmer per set Other innovation on tires includes the ff: - convertion of small diameter tires to medium dia - convertion of mechanical mags - convertion of tires to fit other chasis - widening of mags for rear use
