WHATEVER HAPPENED TO.... this thread? ;D Good Lord... I just went offline for 24hrs and when I came back... I see this? ;D Anyway, with regards to the topic of losing some old zoiders due to either change in taste of hobby or financially related stuff... It cant be helped. All we could do is assure them that for us, they are and always will be.... Zoiders. At least when the economy is up again... they will still have a home to go back to...! Look at Pat isnt it good that after 4 years of hibernation he found ZPh? Even Sen who was encountered by sir 4 while puttin an Ad on Katoots! ;D and... so did sir Bertz, sir AMRGPT and all the other zoiders who are not even aware that a group like this even exists With regards to the group... im sure the admins and mods will agree with me when I say we need all your help to make this succeed. Its sort of a long term commitment and friendship not solely based on Zoids (or TF o Gundam o Happy meal toys ;D)... But dont you guys remember when we jumped overboard, I emphasized that this is "our site"? So, its fair enough that we all take active part on it. Di naman siguro kailangan may kits lagi sa topic just to make us all move di ba? (Pwede din beer, kanin or sisig ;D) Im just glad that Ice was able to make a new banner... it may seem simple to most but I for one appreciate the help. And bro warfreaks has PMd me his designs too! Simple stuff but when you add them all... it makes or could make a big difference to our community! -Grimm

guys, just like what sir freaks said about "all collectors being one," i believe we can achieve this if we are able to set aside our differences and understand that each and everyone of us are uniquely "us." i love this community, and i know that so do all of you. let us not let trivial things ruin the essence of this community that we so eagerly helped build. i know some of us may not like how some people do things and yes, i also understand where you're coming from. we do not need to be strangers with our fellow collectors though. let's help each other out and keep this community "a place for all zoiders to come." let us continue on what has been working for us and also learn from lessons from the past and work through them... "to realize change is to start change" I totally agree..

if i didn't know any better i'd swear you were assuring them that their collection would have a place in yours. ;D Hehe not really Sir. Sometimes old members ask me and text me if I wanted to get some kits from them due to several reasons of their own. But I can assure them that if I got a kit from them, I'll take good care of it. You can actually benefit both of your desires. For example a particular collector wanted to sell his/her own collection for the reason that he needs to fund something more important, if you need the kit and have some spare moolah for it, go get it. In that way you acquired what you want and helped him/her on where he/she will use it. If in any case you can't afford it then thats the time you can refer tehm to others who can. It doesn't mean that if you purchase others collection/kit, you are selfish and you wanted all be yours. A lot of reasons may come on why there is a "Seller and a Buyer".

A lot of reasons may come on why there is a "Seller and a Buyer". don't think i said it was selfish, but i do agree there are a lot of reasons, but lack of clarity of the situation is why discussions like what went about exist. you have all the right and freedom to get all the zoids you want no contest about that, but i'm just curious on where the OTHER sellers and buyers are at. maybe they can't afford those items, or maybe they ain't interested, but yeah, it's how these things have turned into the main spectacle of the board that got me a little miffed. but ahm' just saying, ;D

I was also thinking on what things should be clarified.. I didn't know that purchasing kits nowadays is very complicated. I'm just hoping that things will go back to normal.

This thread's would be better if it's titled: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO..... US? ;D Ive been thinkin hard bout whats happenin lately and... I came to my own conclusion that... We have strayed a bit from our original purpose/plan. We jumped from one boards to another because of what we thought was lack of unity and helping hand. BUt... Why don't we ask ourselves in an outsiders point of view (not as a hobbyist)... We are arguing over plastic stuffs??? At that time (at the old boards) most of us are a bit inexperienced when it comes to dealing past outside our comfort zones. But given our experience in acquiring kits through "miraculous means" for the past 2yrs... It wouldn't hurt us to remember and relive one of our friend's old FS thread at the old boards titled: PAYING IT FORWARD (now its a hunting ground of sorts). ;D Dont worry bout the kits guys... its the friends we made thru those kits that matters most. And like I always say to myself... I cannot lose something that is rightfully mine. If I sold it.. it just goes to show that it was never mine to begin with. -Grimm

I agree on what your saying Grimm I'm glad that you agree bro. Here's what I'd like to ask of you to set this example of paying it forward: help our other members in finding kits as well. The buyer/seller example can benefit two. But what if the seller has a kit that you feel isn't your want, but another member would love to acquire? Post your findings here sa boards or text said member, facilitate the sale and now you get gratitude from the one who bought the kit. Then this buyer will now show you more sellers of Zoids you might not know about. You get more of what you like and you also help in the cycle. Let me set some examples here. Say Toreador texts me a kit he's selling, a Liger. I'm not a Liger guy, so I text Grimm, whom I know loves them. Grimm buys the Liger and now he also informs me that DD is selling Red Horns, which I did not know about. So now I buy the Horn and 4 of us benefit from the transactions, not just 2. I know you are an army builder and one of the more prominent buyers in this forum. You have connections with some old Zoiders we noobs don't. But us noobs can also help you out in acquiring kits via YJA or eBay, which I know you have asked for in the past. Maybe we'd be more inclined to help you if you also helped us connect with the old Zoiders who are willing to sell their collection, not race us to acquire the most kits from them, or even "go underground" at times, which is so "old school." This was a problem I had with the old days: swapangan sa kits! Yup they posted reviews of their acquis and how much they acquired them, but that's it. They never helped me out when I was starting, they were more arrogant that I knew/had less than them. Why would I even want to help these b*stards out? The old forum wasn't a community, it was a braggart's convention. But in this current ZPH we have, I am in deep gratutude that I have been helped out by numerous people in acquiring kits. I also try my best to help them with whatever kits they need. That's how I like it and I don't want to go back. So how about it Aris? Care to help the ZPH community with their collections as well? You are most welcome to do so.
